Above the Law? June 13, 2007Posted by Jim Satterfield in Government, Politics, The Bush Administration.
The New York Times writes about the ongoing conflict between Congress and the White House about having White House staff testify before Congress. The White House believes they owe nothing to the American public or their representatives in the House or Senate, especially the truth. Transparency in government is apparently an obscenity to them and I can only hope that they lose big time on this issue as they have been in the courts for their specious claims concerning what they want to do in the name of the “WoT”.
