Big Pharma Research June 15, 2007

Every time that someone criticizes Big Pharma for their influence on the government’s health care decisions or their huge advertising budgets or their huge profit margins the defenders come out. “Where would we be without the marvelous research they do on important life saving drugs?”, they cry.

Well, remember that it’s not exactly saving human lives that count the most with them. Huge amounts of their research go for lifestyle drugs, not any life or death matters.
