If John McCain’s pick of Governor Sarah Palin wasn’t an impulsive shot in the dark to steal Senator Obama’s thunder with little to no thought given to her qualifications and she was in fact thoroughly vetted as the McCain now claims then how did they miss “Troopergate”, an investigation already underway and written up in the Alaskan press? And since they are now scrambling to crush the investigation how can they make any claims to being some kind of reform ticket?
